Looking for other V-Star 650 Owners

I am getting my 2000 Black V-star 650 Wednesday night.
I have added a Yamaha Windshield - Yamaha rear rack - Yamaha floor Boards. Any suggestions or informations on this bike from an owner ? Hows the power for one rider ? Brakes ? Does she over heat ?
Any information would be very helpful...I enjoy this web site more than any others read it daily. Keep in touch fellow 650 V-Star owners.
